Battle of Vienna

Most people have never heard of the Battle of Vienna, but it happened right here on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Dr. Patricia Johnson and Midge Ingersoll bring that Revolutionary War story to life on August 29 from 10-4 pm at the Handsell Historic site, along with the remarkable discovery of a colonial ship buried beneath the Nanticoke River and why both continue to shape our understanding of local history.
