Radio Chesapeake accepts gifts of cash and appreciated securities and, if you are 70 1/2 years or older, you can make a transfer (known as a qualified charitable distribution or QCD) from your IRA  up to $105,000 per year. This transfer is not taxable and satisfies all or part of your minimum distribution obligation.
