Radio Chesapeake accepts gifts of cash and appreciated securities and, if you are 70 1/2 years or older, you can make a transfer (known as a qualified charitable distribution or QCD) from your IRA  up to $105,000 per year. This transfer is not taxable and satisfies all or part of your minimum distribution obligation. Always check with your financial advisor on details applicable to your financial situation.
