MidBay Project Bringing Lost Islands Back to Life

In the last 150 years, over 10,000 acres have disappeared with islands lost to the rising waters of the Chesapeake Bay.

Now, James and Barren islands are coming back, as tugs and barges make their way with dredge spoils from the Bay's shipping channel.
