When a pipe burst earlier this year at the Harriet Tubman Museum in downtown Cambridge, it looked like the place was ruined. But instead, the flood forced a rebirth, an entirely new concept that is now driving the museum makeover that’s underway.
Museum director Linda Harris has recruited muralist Michael Rosato to use the walls, the ceiling, even the floor, as his canvas. On a recent visit, they introduced visitors to the first strokes of what will be a 3-D experience.
