New ShoreRivers Scientist Brings A Riverful of Knowledge to Environmental Advocacy

We’re excited to welcome Becky Golden, ShoreRivers’ first Watershed Scientist. Becky brings a wealth of experience in aquatic science and policy from her work with the National Marine Fisheries Service and Maryland’s Department of Natural Resources. In her new role, she’ll be leading scientific research and water quality monitoring to support ShoreRivers’ mission of protecting and restoring our Eastern Shore rivers. WHCP's Ben Brunner talks with Becky about her background, her goals for this role, and how science shapes environmental advocacy here in our region
