  • Romantic big band music for Valentine's Day week. Features a special recording of my own grandfather, Eddie Shearer, from an old radio broadcast in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Also featuring Duke Ellington, the rivals Artie Shaw and Glenn Miller, Billy Eckstine and Coleman Hawkins. And a special treat from Martin Sjostedt and the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra playing "The Wedding" by South African pianist Abdullah Ibrahim.
