Detailed allegations in charging documents - including transcripts of deleted text messages - paint a picture of two shootings in Dorchester County, a case of revenge, and efforts of two lovers to erase their trail of evidence.
Maryland state police investigators looking into the shootings in Hurlock and minutes later in Linkwood, laid out what they described as the trail of Anthony "Tony" Harris, 26.
Following the killing of five year old girl Na'Ryah Adams, Harris used his connection with his lover, former State's Attorney analyst Lindsay Jo Ewing, to check on his status as a suspect, police wrote.
The two entered into an extended text message chain, (included in the images above), that Ewing later advised Harris to scrub from his phone, according to state police.
Harris was arrested on charges of first- and second-degree murder, and using a firearm in a felony.
Ewing was arrested and charged with accessory after murder, evidence tampering and conspiracy to destroy evidence.
