Easton Minister Abducted by ICE

Rev. Daniel Fuentes Espinal

A popular and respected Easton minister who was taken into custody by immigration agents is expected to have a bond hearing today in Baltimore, according to family contacts.

Rev. Daniel Fuentes Espinal was stopped by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE, on the Easton Bypass on his way to a construction site. ICE has not responded to requests for Espinal’s status or information about the case.

The Easton community was shocked to hear agents had detained Espinal, who over 24 years in this country became known for his generosity and care, and was pastor of the Nazarine church since 2015.
