Anne Watts (Woman Wattage) is an award-winning composer and bandleader of the Baltimore-based ensemble Boister. She has performed at the Crocodile Club in Tokyo, the Kennedy Center, and the Smithsonian, and has been featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, Good Morning America, and in the Wall Street Journal. Laura J. Oliver is an award-winning writer, developmental story editor, workshop facilitator, and writing mentor. She is the author of The Story Within, New Insights and Inspiration for Writers (Penguin Random House) reprinted 8 times. Her fiction and nonfiction appear in national magazines, newspapers and literary reviews. She taught at the University of Maryland and St. Johns College and her weekly column for the Talbot Spy, Chestertown Spy, and the Cambridge Spy is featured every Wednesday as “This is How the Story Goes” on NPR-member station, WHCP.
