A virtual meeting tonight about the proposed development in Trappe at the site of the former drive-in theater!There is a virtual public informational hearing tonight at 6:30 PM regarding the Trappe East development. Blackwater announces a partial reopen! Hurrah!Beginning Saturday, April 17, 2021, the Blackwater NWR Visitor Center will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Wildlife Drive and refuge trails remain open from dawn to dusk daily.To protect the health of those who live, work and visit U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service public lands and facilities, and in support of the President’s Executive Order on Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing, face masks are required in all USFWS-managed buildings and facilities.
